Hi, I'm Anila. I am an ex-IELTS examiner and certified English and ESL teacher with over 17 years of experience across Canada, the UK, and Thailand. My background in Psychology gives me a distinct edge as a teacher. I understand how people learn, what holds them back, and how to build the confidence and skills needed to improve. Every student is different, and I tailor my approach accordingly. I also have direct experience teaching in Thailand, so I understand the challenges Thai learners face when studying English and how to address them effectively. I offer a variety of lesson types: IELTS Preparation As an ex-examiner I know exactly how your speaking and writing are scored and what separates a good answer from a great one. We will work through each component of the exam systematically, with targeted practice, mock tests, and the kind of detailed feedback that only an insider can give Business English Whether you need to write professional emails, present confidently in meetings, or communicate with international colleagues, I will help you develop the language skills your career demands. Lessons are practical and focused on real workplace scenarios relevant to your industry and goals. Conversational English Building confidence in everyday English is just as important as exam scores or professional skills. My conversational lessons focus on natural fluency, pronunciation, and the ability to express yourself clearly and comfortably in any situation. These sessions are relaxed but purposeful, with structure tailored to your level and interests. If you’re considering Canada for study or business, I can help you understand your options. I work alongside licensed Canadian immigration professionals and can connect you directly with trusted experts. Beyond visas, I support clients with student and business pathways, English preparation (including IELTS), and full integration planning so you are confident academically, professionally, and culturally.
