About Me

Hi, I’m Pam. I’m a passionate and experienced ESL teacher who enjoys helping students improve their English and build confidence when communicating. I have several years of experience teaching English to both adults and children from different backgrounds. I’ve worked closely with refugees and international learners, helping them develop their speaking, reading, writing, and vocabulary skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s goals. I use classroom activities, games, and structured lesson plans to make learning engaging and effective. I can help with conversational English, Business English, English literature, and exam preparation, such as IELTS and TOEFL. Before focusing fully on teaching, I worked as a Senior Librarian, where I helped members of the public access information and develop their reading and language skills. This experience has strengthened my ability to support learners at different levels. I also recently had the opportunity to teach English in Thailand, working in both private and public schools with children and young adults. I enjoy meeting students from different cultures and helping them achieve their language goals. My goal is to make learning English enjoyable, practical, and useful in real-life situations.
