About Me

Hi all, I'm Teacher Mike from Canada, a trained ex-IELTs Speaking Examiner that has worked for over 20 years in Thailand as an English teacher and teacher trainer. I have my Cambridge University DELTA, dozens of teaching certificates and a great deal of experience helping Thai and Asian learners. I have taught all general English levels and ages, and the last 2 years preparing Thais in Bangkok to improve their IELTs band scores, or gain higher test scores for the medical OET, TOEFL, and TOEIC exams. Besides knowing and helping students with tests, I also specialize in Business English such as marketing and public relations, English for tourism, English for Law Enforcement, medical English and training teachers (TEFL). I have helped hundreds of Thai healthcare workers, police and immigration officers, tour guides, hotel staff and Thai teachers to reach their language goals quickly and enjoyably (as learning should be fun!). Many of my students went on to gain better jobs in Thailand or promotions in their job.
