Bangkok Bank
Bangkok Bank Master's Scholarship
Thailand's largest private-bank scholarship. You're hired by the bank before you leave, draw a salary while you study, and come back to work for it afterwards. The bank funds specific programmes at a fixed list of universities (MIT, Stanford, Oxford, Cambridge, LBS and others), so check your target is on it.
Application round
The 2569 round took online applications from 25 December 2025 to 16 April 2026, split into two selection rounds: people admitted by 31 January went into round one (exam notice in February, interviews in March, results in April) and later admissions into round two (exam notice in April, interviews in May, results in June).
Next round
The 2570 round is expected to open in late December 2026 and close in April 2027. Have your IELTS and university application done before the new year to make the first selection round.
The IELTS requirement
The bank doesn't set its own IELTS score. Your documents include "a copy of the test results your university requires, such as TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT or GRE", and they're handed in on the written-exam day, which comes within weeks of the deadline, so in practice you need the score before you apply. Master's programmes at the listed universities commonly ask for IELTS 6.5 or higher, and MBAs also want a GMAT. The bank's own written exam includes an English paper.
