The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS), administered by the National University of Singapore (NUS)
Goh Keng Swee Scholarship (ABS, administered by NUS)
A donated scholarship from Singapore's banking association for outstanding freshmen from 15 Asian economies, administered by NUS from 2026. There is no separate form: every eligible applicant for NUS undergraduate admission is considered.
Application round
Apply for NUS admission at nus.edu.sg/oam between 16 December 2026 and 17 February 2027 (the AY2027/28 window for international qualifications, including Thai M6) and tick the scholarship option. Only shortlisted candidates are contacted, for interviews held between January and July; outcomes are sent by mid-July.
The IELTS requirement
The scholarship sets no English test of its own, but NUS admission does. Thai Mathayom 6 applicants must submit an approved English test, and NUS's published minimum for IELTS Academic is 6.5 overall with 6.5 in Reading and Writing (PTE Academic 62 and TOEFL iBT are also accepted; IELTS One Skill Retake is not). Scores are uploaded with the admission application, so you need your result before the February closing date.
