HRH Princess Sirindhorn Scholarship, University of Liverpool (Thailand)
Liverpool's scholarship named after HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is reserved for Thai students. One award a year pays the full tuition fee for a one-year taught master's in any subject, plus a £9,000 stipend. Preference goes to subjects linked to the Princess's interests: science, IT, medicine, the arts, geography, history and languages.
Application round
The 2026 round closed on 19 June 2026. You apply with a separate application form downloaded from the scholarship page; the International Recruitment team also sends the form to eligible Thai applicants who already hold an offer.
Next round
The form and deadline for 2027 entry haven't been published. The 2026 round closed in mid-June, so plan to have your course offer and the application ready by around May 2027.
The IELTS requirement
The scholarship page sets no IELTS score. You need an offer for your master's course, and Liverpool makes its English requirement a condition of that offer. Most taught master's courses in the UK ask for around IELTS 6.5 overall, with some (for example in health and law) asking for more, so check your course page and aim to have the score before the scholarship deadline so the offer isn't held up.
