SCBX Young Tech Scholarship (SCB Group)
The SCB Group's holding company funds a full undergraduate degree abroad in technology and quantitative fields, with internships inside the group during your studies and a job afterwards. You apply with the university offer already in hand.
Application round
Young Tech Scholarship 2026 closed on 31 May 2026. You pre-screen through an online form, then shortlisted candidates submit documents, take an assessment, interview with the scholarship committee and go through a final evaluation.
Next round
A 2027 round is expected with a similar deadline around the end of May 2027. Since you need the university offer first, your IELTS should be done by late 2026.
The IELTS requirement
SCBX doesn't set an IELTS score: a TOEFL, IELTS or GMAT report is listed as an optional document. What drives your target is the unconditional offer you must hold when you apply. Leading English-speaking universities generally ask for at least IELTS 6.5 for undergraduate entry, often with per-skill minimums, so plan to sit the test in M.5 or early M.6 to have the offer by the May deadline.

Who can apply
- Thai citizen aged 20 or under
- GPA of at least 3.25 out of 4.00 (or equivalent)
- Accepted, or holding an unconditional offer, at a world-class overseas university
- Fields: STEM, innovation, AI, cyber security, computational finance, operations research, digitalisation or related areas aligned with SCBX strategy
- Strong extracurricular record
- Work for the sponsoring SCBX company for 1.5 times your study period after graduating, or repay the scholarship plus a 1.5x penalty
